Who I am and Why I Created Bachelorette Blog

I’m Brianna Cole, and I have planned more bachelorette weekends than I can honestly count anymore.

It started the way it does for a lot of people. A close friend asked me to plan her bachelorette party because I was “the organized one,” and it turned out I loved every part of it, from picking the destination to talking a hotel into a late checkout for eight hungover women. Word got around, and within a couple of years I was planning parties for friends of friends, then for people I’d never even met who found me through referrals. Eventually I turned it into an actual side business doing day-of coordination for bachelorette trips and small wedding events, mostly around the Southeast.

This site is where all of that experience lives now. I write the kind of guides I wish existed when I was planning my first one, real budget breakdowns instead of vague suggestions, destination guides based on trips I’ve actually helped run, and themed party ideas that go beyond sashes and penis straws. I also cover the wedding planning side more broadly, since bachelorette parties never happen in isolation. If you’re planning the party, you’re usually neck-deep in the wedding too.

I try to write for the actual maid of honor stress-scrolling at midnight, not for a hypothetical influencer with an unlimited budget. That means realistic price ranges, honest pros and cons of the destinations I cover, and guides that account for the fact that not everyone in the group can afford a four-night trip to Nashville.

Outside of this site, I still take on a handful of event clients a year, mostly because I’m not ready to give up the parts of the job I actually enjoy, like watching a group of nervous strangers become fast friends over a weekend. I live just outside Charlotte, and most of my own bachelorette-planning battle scars come from a group trip to Savannah that involved a scavenger hunt gone very wrong.

If you’re planning your own celebration and want a second opinion, or you spot something on the site that’s outdated, the contact page is the fastest way to reach me.

This site contains affiliate links. I earn from qualifying purchases on linked products and services, and I only recommend vendors and products I’d actually use for my own clients.
